The customer prefers saving images on a file server rather than in the database. We advised the following actions:
- Set up AxpImagepath in Axvariables to establish a single file path for all users, and configure individual user paths in global parameters. They implemented this successfully, except for existing screens.
- Attempt prefixing the field name with nodb.
- Remove the image table imagefromdb.
- Review XML configurations for both functional and non-functional setups; however, this did not resolve all issues.
Please note: The customer does not want to apply the latest release due to production concerns, which prevents them from applying patches beyond version 5.
