Issue with Email-Based Workflow Approval Process

We are currently facing an issue with the email-based workflow approval system. The Director has traditionally relied on email for approval, making this matter a high priority. We would appreciate your assistance in investigating this and providing guidance on how to address it urgently.

Although the "Require Authentication" option has been unchecked for the workflow, the email approval link is still prompting a login window in read-only mode. Users are unable to enter credentials in the username or password fields. (For verification, please refer to the first link below.)

Interestingly, the same approval link functions correctly when accessed via the older web code on version 9.7. However, this version presents its own set of challenges:
- It encounters issues during SMTP authentication.
- It logs every approval attempt into the log folder, which slows down performance.
- It adds entries to the connections table without deleting them, eventually leading to "connections exceeded" errors when accessing the application through the web.
- It sometimes causes a deadlock, blocking users from completing approvals via the web once the email approval link is locked.

The reported issue is currently being addressed by the product team. Can expect the fix as part of the upcoming release.
