Since August 29, 2024, the application has been experiencing slow performance during specific time slots: after 11 AM in the morning and after 4:30 PM in the evening. We have monitored the performance on AppDynamics, and the web service response time is notably high.

Please find the attached screenshot and the AWR report of the database for further analysis. Kindly prioritize this issue.

Attached is the summary of recommendations and action items derived from the AWR. These should be prioritized for optimization to enhance performance. I also suggest generating an ADDM report for more detailed insights and additional recommendations.

I'm unsure if the previously shared recommendations were addressed for corrective actions.

Here’s the updated report:

  • High CPU Queries: Queries like dpcb4tjqvuk2r and ah0zr2jm2g6hk consume significant CPU resources and should be prioritized for tuning, potentially through query rewriting, improved indexing, or execution plan analysis.

  • High I/O Wait Queries: Queries such as 92y4qmwvth325 and g06h4gdgn902y, which experience high I/O wait times or physical reads, should be reviewed for optimization opportunities, such as enhanced indexing or partitioning, to reduce I/O overhead.

  • Execution Plan Analysis: Examine the execution plans for these queries, particularly those with high buffer gets and physical reads, to identify any inefficiencies in data access.
