We are currently experiencing significant issues with attachments in Axpert Web 11.3 that require your immediate attention.

Previously, we reported two unresolved issues with attachments, and we have now encountered an additional, critical problem affecting our workflow. Specifically, when accessing any attachment from a TStruct, it functions correctly initially. However, after logging out and logging back in, attempts to open the same attachment fail. Clearing the In-Memory DB temporarily resolves the issue but is not a sustainable solution.

This problem is halting our progress, and we have provided a screen recording to illustrate the issue. Given our imminent project go-live, we urgently need your assistance to address and resolve this matter as soon as possible.

Please let us know if you need any logs or further information from us to expedite the troubleshooting process.

Have we verified if the attachment was saved correctly in the specified path? The video file does not show any reference to functionality after clearing Redis. Let's schedule a call to review this issue by 11 AM if you are available.

Yes, the attachment was saved correctly in the specified path and opens without issues from the desktop and the previous Axpert Web version. I am available, and we can discuss this further at 11 AM.

Here are the steps reviewed during the analysis:

The attachment field is defined as "dc8_image" in a tabbed DC on a TStruct.

  • On the first login, when the record is loaded from the list view, the attachment file loads correctly.
  • On subsequent logins, loading the same record from the list view results in a 404 error for the attachment. The session ID in the URL is incorrect, although the attachment is present in the physical session folder.
  • After clearing Redis and reloading the record from the list view, the attachment loads correctly.

The Axpert version in use is 11.3.1_r9. The issue is being addressed by the product team and a fix is expected in the upcoming release.
