In Change password screen, mask is not working in new password field

Navigate to the developer environment. 

1. Search the "Change Password" feature.
2. Click on the new password field.
3. Enable the option to mask all characters.
4. Save the changes.

However, the applied changes are not reflecting in the application.

As discussed with Kumar regarding this issue, please utilize the password properties on the desktop instead of creating a structure using masking.
