The user seeks to integrate LibreOffice, not MS Excel, into Axpert Desktop. Currently, when generating Excel reports from iviews and FastReport's, the system defaults to MS Excel. They require a provision to utilize LibreOffice Calc instead,

The reported issue is currently being addressed by the product team. Can expect the fix as part of the upcoming release.
