Could you please try using the date format dd/mm/yyyy? The system date should also be in this format, and the region settings should be configured to the United Kingdom. Please verify this format and let me know the outcome.

The developer mentioned below may have enabled this feature. Please check and remove it, as it is not necessary for the dd/mm/yyyy format.
